I Love Pasta. And Free Stuff.

In my world, nothing makes me happier than pasta.  Except maybe, free pasta.  And 15 boxes of free pasta after a long Monday?  Amazing.

In case you didn't know (and I did not), January 4th is National Spaghetti Day.  I had no idea that this holiday existed (however, I plan on observing from now on!) until I read about it on one of my favorite cooking blogs Two Peas & Their Pod.  They featured a delicious sun dried tomato & spinach pasta recipe that day along with a Barilla product giveaway in honor of National Spaghetti Day.  The Barilla pasta lover that I am, I entered and-- surprise-- I won!

My goodie basket arrived today and included a ton of fun stuff that I can't wait to put to use:

• 15 boxes of pasta (all of their good healthier ones-- Barilla Plus, Veggie, Whole Grain, and White Fiber)
• 5 coupons for free Barilla pasta sauce
• An adorable Barilla apron
• A set of bamboo cooking utensils
• A cooking timer (so cute-- it has a little plastic farfalle noodle on top!)
