Fresh Homemade Dinners Made Easy with Madison & Rayne

I love to cook. Even on a busy weeknight after a long day at the office, I find it both comforting and a little therapeutic to make a homemade dinner in my kitchen. On some of these nights when I arrive home feeling a little burned out though, I find it really difficult to be creative in the kitchen. On these nights, I find it even more difficult to muster up the energy for tedious cooking tasks like cleaning lettuce, chopping vegetables, and of course, the eventual cleanup of the mess I made in the process. This is where Madison & Rayne can swoop in and save the day-- and your dinner.

Madison & Rayne is not your typical dinner delivery service. Instead, it's a collection of chef-created recipes that arrive at your door with all of the heavy lifting done for you: no measuring, no chopping, no cleaning and trimming of meat-- Madison & Rayne takes care of it all. The ingredients arrive neatly packaged and numbered (to avoid any confusion on when to use which ingredient) and all you have to do is cook it!

Alex and I had the opportunity to try two Madison & Rayne dinners recently and I have to say that I was very impressed. Right off the bat, I loved the creative recipe combinations. Both meals were delicious, but were also dishes that I never would have come up with on my own-- and that's really fun for someone like me who cooks all the time.

First up was a pappardelle pasta in a blue cheese cream sauce with chicken, bacon, escarole, dates, and walnuts. This salty and sweet combination of ingredients along with one of my favorite pasta shapes was right up my alley-- and it came together in only 20 minutes!

For our second dinner, we enjoyed a roasted pork tenderloin over creamy spinach with sweet potatoes, corn, mushrooms, and blueberries. The pork tenderloin was well trimmed and fresh. And I absolutely loved this veggie combination! The blueberries really completed the whole thing and gave it such a sweet and summery flavor.

A few highlights of this service for me:

  • Seasonal recipes-- Madison & Rayne's recipe selection is updated weekly with new seasonal dishes, so you're sure to get the best produce when it is in season.
  • Locally sourced-- I'm a sucker for anything that supports local businesses and Madison & Rayne is no exception. Their ingredients come from Mick Klug, Slagel Farms, Seedling Orchards, and several other local farms and artisans.
  • Flexibility-- You can order as many or as few dinners as you want. There is no commitment. Serving one or serving 8? There are options for both and everything in between. Vegetarian? Also not a problem. Madison & Rayne offers a ton of tasty meatless dinner options too.
  • Variety-- Easy or complex, quick or more time consuming, a simple dinner for one or a full meal with side dishes, bread, and dessert-- They really have it all!
