In a few sentences, tell us a little bit about your blog: Project Soiree is a lifestyle blog that focuses on food, fashion and events in Chicago.

Now, tell us about your...

1. Favorite meal, food, or cuisine: I absolutely love seafood! A grilled salmon with fresh vegetables during the summer is my favorite.

2. Least favorite meal, food, or cuisine:  Meat – I’ve been a pescatarian for the past 3 years

3. Favorite restaurant in your city: Mon Ami Gabi - The mussels and the baked goat cheese with their freshly baked baguette is the best. They also have a great patio during the summer!  

4. Favorite restaurant outside of your city:  Mangiamos! in my hometown of Grand Rapids, MI is a must when I’m home visiting family. This restaurant holds so many memories of dinners with friends and family and their pizzas are pretty amazing.

5. Favorite food memory: Eating gelato on the Spanish Steps in Rome, Italy. I’m dying to go back.

6. Favorite guilty pleasure food: This is really random, but I love the sugar cookies from Potbelly…so amazing when they just come out of the oven.

7. Favorite ingredient (something you love to cook with, or something you see on a menu and know you have to order): Avocado anything and I’m hooked.

8. Favorite kitchen tool, utensil, product, etc.:  I’m always using my cheese grater because I’m slightly obsessed with cheese.

9. Favorite recipe: I love this recipe for Coconut Macaroons because they taste amazing and they are super easy to make. 

10. Favorite thing about blogging: It’s great having Project Soiree as a creative outlet, but most of all I love the networking/friendships with other bloggers.
