Top 10 Favorite Outerwear Looks For Fall 2012

You may have gathered this already from a few of my recent posts, but I love fall. Love it. It's my favorite season. Some of my friends refer to it (when talking to me) as "pumpkin spice latte season" -- they all know my weakness for my favorite fall beverage. I love pumpkin picking, spiced fall flavors, and pulling my sweaters and boots out of storage... I think it reminds me of back to school shopping and the excitement of starting a brand new year.

Speaking of back to school shopping, a slight chill in the air has reminded me that I am in the market for a new coat. And unlike the last few times I have bought one, I need to get on the ball before there is snow on the ground. That sense of urgency never makes for a successful purchase. I've done some window shopping lately and came up with 10 of my favorites. I always veer more toward timeless and classic coats and this season I am really loving flattering shapes in bold colors with a few unique details like toggles, big hoods, and statement collars.
